Miami Worldcenter

Project Description – Miami Worldcenter

City Block F-East at Miami Worldcenter is a 135,208 GSF retail facility designed as the “jewelry box” of the main civic plaza. This two-story structure, topped with an iconic roof, delivers elevated retail experiences and panoramic views of plaza events and the nearby convention hotel. While dedicated to retail use, the activated rooftop adds a unique public-facing element. To the east, the site connects directly to a 400-key boutique hotel, enhancing its role as a vibrant link between hospitality and retail within the master-planned development.

This retail development at Miami Worldcenter comprises 78,264 net square feet and plays a key role within one of Miami’s most prominent mixed-use districts. Square Edge provided real estate development management and advisory services along with design and construction management, working on behalf of Miami Worldcenter Associates. Collaborating closely with Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates as both architect and engineer, Square Edge helped guide the project from planning through completion, ensuring coordination across design, budgeting, and construction activities. Completed in Q2 2020 with a development value exceeding $90 million, the project contributes to the activation of downtown Miami with high-quality retail space thoughtfully integrated into the larger urban environment.
