Project Description – City Block H
Block H is a pivotal component of the Miami Worldcenter development, comprising approximately 545,000 gross square feet of residential space and 461,150 gross square feet dedicated to a multi-level podium structure. This expansive development spans a full city block, stretching from NE 2nd Avenue to NE 1st Avenue, and plays a strategic role in shaping the connectivity and flow of the entire master plan.
Once completed, City Block H will support three essential urban functions. On the east, it will define the primary vehicular entry into Miami Worldcenter, offering a highly visible landmark that can be seen from Biscayne Boulevard and beyond. Along its northern edge, the architecture complements and activates the adjacent civic plaza, contributing to the pedestrian-friendly, flexible use of public space. To the south, the building’s design interacts with the Florida East Coast Railway, acting as a dynamic gateway into the broader Worldcenter district. Additionally, Block H will serve as one of the two principal public parking garages for the development, reinforcing its importance in the district’s infrastructure and accessibility.
