Project Description – Miami Worldcenter
This $90 million urban development initiative at Miami Worldcenter focused on transformative public and private site improvements across the entire district. Designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects with civil engineering by Kimley Horn, the scope involved shaping the connective “skin” of the project — from paving, lighting, and landscaping to integrated signage, public art, and placemaking elements. These improvements were designed to unify the architectural diversity of the site, reinforcing its identity as both a residential and commercial hub while enhancing walkability and experiential engagement. Strategic design interventions were deployed to establish orientation points, plazas, and pedestrian corridors that serve as natural wayfinding markers and cultural touchpoints throughout the development.

Square Edge’s Role
Square Edge served as the Real Estate Development Advisor and led the design and construction management for all site improvements within the Miami Worldcenter district. This included overseeing complex coordination between architects, engineers, curators, branding consultants, and municipal agencies to ensure that the public realm aligned with the broader vision of the development. The team managed logistics for both private infrastructure and city-owned assets, ensuring timely delivery while resolving field challenges and design conflicts. Square Edge’s role was essential in translating Miami Worldcenter’s brand and curatorial identity into a functional, high-quality public realm that enhances both daily use and the long-term value of the project.
